Domestic cultural tourism fact sheet, 2015-2023 (download here)

Over the last few years, The Culture Farm has been tracking domestic cultural tourism, with a focus on the years of COVID-19 and immediately after in order to understand how cultural tourism has been impacted by the pandemic. This was tracked until the end of 2023, with all trends pointing clearly to a strong recovery in domestic cultural travel and to culture and arts events as a strong driver of tourism for Australians travelling within Australia.  Arts and cultural activities remain both a driver and an important element to millions of Australians when they travel.
